Son of Councillor Prof. João Batista dos Anjos, former Director of the Medical School of Bahia.
Born in Salvador, in 1866.
Stuck in Medicine degree in 1889 from the Faculty of Medicine of Bahia.
He was a classmate of Arthur and Arthur Cotias Correia Couto Maia, also the school's faculty (2).
At 5 years the doctor was Chair of Internal Diseases and Skin Syphiligraphy. Soon after graduation, he was Trainer of the Dental Institute, Faculty of Medicine of Bahia. Two years later, ie in 1903, Professor interim replacement of the 5th Section, becoming effective after a competition in 1907.
From 1909 to 1913 he was Professor of Surgical Pathology. In 1913 he became ordinary professor of the 1st Chair of Clinical Surgery, and remained so until 1915, when he won the Chair.
Humanist ranking, has won many customers, exercising their profession with great competence and remarkable sense of charity.
Delegate Hygiene Bahia prison doctor, Professor of Hygiene Gym Bahia, where she also taught English, physics and chemistry.
In addition to his doctoral thesis entitled "skin disorders of nervous origin," published several speeches and contributed to several magazines of Medicine.
He died in 1920.
