But it was a slave named Anthony who, after a punishment, seized the weapon from you and, when he was attending a call, it murdered. The year was 1840 and Cezar Zama had two years of age. The crime charged was a carpenter, named Fiuza, who died in the face of torture received in prison. Discovered the real author, he was hanged for the crime - but since the rebellion had been installed in the city, and was destroyed not only the strength but also the pillory "(1).

His speeches have time. It was of those who pray, as Bourdalone, communicated to listeners a flame of enthusiasm, taking them to the frank laughter, to tears or elation. As Ruy Manuel Vitorino and other great tribunes of Bahia, Cezar Zama was therefore improved and the qualities of his character, loved and admired, despite political divisions common in all ages and from which men can not escape "(3 ).
