JOÃO FLORÊNCIO GOMES
Born: February 28, 1846, in the village of San Francisco, his parents Being John Florencio Gomez and Gomez Ana Joaquina.

Began teaching at 16 years old and lived in gym The Same When He started medical school.
One year after the graduation of John Florencio, Abilio Cesar Borges Moved to Rio de Janeiro, Bahia passing the Gym at the hands of Canon Rock, Vicar of Nazareth.
In 1875, John Florencio assumed direction of the traditional educational establishment, and changed the name to "College of St. Joseph."
For half a century Florencio João Gomes directed the College of St. Joseph with luster of yesteryear The Same, thanks to its unique culture and full dedication.
