Tavares Neto puts the name of Francisco Marcelino Gesteira among the graduates of the eighth class, ie in 1819 (4).

"Due to serious illness, moved away from teaching for a long period, however, once restored, resumed the exercise of office, ending the President's remarks addressed to the Provincial Director of the School for the lengthy absence of the" Lens Parthians ", in fact justified, given that the disease manifested itself" (3).
He died in 1875.
