Spinola Colombo met with proficiency, multiple and relevant activities, was a physician, exercising the eye clinic with love and detachment, was professor of medicine, with persistent spirit of justice and rare competence, was literate, with charming simplicity and perfection, was sanitarian, with high public spirit and administrative acumen, was a pioneer in creating Santa Lucia Foundation and the Foundation for the Development of Medicine, cell of Bahia School of Medicine and Public Health.
"Anyhow, it did, lent the force of a definite vibration, giving themselves entirely, to be faithful to its ideals of faith driving" (op. cit.)
As a physician, received in the same way, rich and poor. The rich, he opened his own privacy, giving everyone, at all times, uplifting examples of honesty, uprightness of character and honesty.
